In the arm, leg and neck region of our patients receiving dialysis treatment, surgical treatment applications are made where they can enter dialysis with veins or synthetic veins. It is necessary to measure the width and diameter, and flow rates of these vessels regularly (every four months) with Color Doppler Ultrasonography, and the blood flow rates and velocities in the AV fistulea vessels are detected. In this way, early diagnosis and treatment can be made before the vessels on which our patients enter dialysis are blocked or an emergency vascular problem arises. This is called “ fistula rejuvation”. With the latest technologies, especially in intravenous robotic interventions, we can ensure that vessels work efficiently for many years longer than expected.
